I got this in an email today. Apparently, this is now being used as an illustration of what can happen when you become too stressed on the job. So if you are feeling like you have too much stress and just can’t take it anymore, then check the mirror and if you look like this, back away slowly and get help ASAP!
If you don’t look like this, then please begin to take stress relief measures and do all that is possible to keep this from happening to you. I remember when I was just a wee little lad,
I would sometimes get mad and make a face. Mom would almost always say “Boy you will be real pretty if your face freezes like that!”. What she didn’t think of though was that I wasn’t worried cause she also used to tell me to wipe that silly grin off my face or “she would slap my face into next week”. I always figured that if my face did freeze in a weird shape like this, I would just be myself and in a little while, mom would slap my face off into next week and I would be fixed.
Not sure if there is anything that can be done to help this guy though. He seems to be too far gone. By the way, mom was not horrible and did not beat me up much as I was growing up. She usually always beat me when I needed it and it didn’t hurt me. In fact it helped me to avoid troubles later in life. So don’t get upset if you are one of the people who believe that we should not spank our children. Mom did, I deserved it and more, and it always hurt my pride but corrected my attitude.
I did not mean to get sidetracked and almost serious there, but I did. A psychiatrist once told me that when that happens it is a sign that I am growing up. I hate that idea. Growing up usually means that I have to be serious. Life is a lot more fun when you don’t take yourself too seriously.
Thanks for sharing this Gerald. See ya later.
